Permanent makeup procedure consists of 2 appointments: an initial appointment and a touch up appointment 6-12 weeks later. Why is it so important to come to your touch up appointment? Everyone's skin is different and will retain different amount of pigment while healing, and it is impossible to predict how much pigment will stay inside the skin. That's why on the first appointment we are always going lighter. Because if we go too dark/bright, it will be very hard to make it lighter after. But it's very easy to add more colour during the touch up appointment if darker/brighter results are desired. Also whilst healing some areas may retain more pigment than others resulting in slightly patchy look. This will also be addressed and corrected during the touch up appointment.
