Semi permanent makeup is always a 2 step process. You will definitely need your initial session, and a touch up session 6-12 weeks after.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Skin is a living organ, and pigments that are placed into the skin are foreign body, and your skin will always try to get rid of it. That's why permanent makeup always looks darker/brighter straight after the procedure and lighter once healed: because the skin and your immune system gets rid of some of the pigment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because everyone is different, different amounts of pigment will be pushed out during the healing process, and on the first session we are kind of testing the skin. We won't know how much pigment will be retained until we see the healed results. This is what the touch up is for: we assess the healed results and go from there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thus on the first procedure I tend to go lighter, as I would much rather you say: it's faded too much, I want it darker and thicker! rather than: it's too dark and thick I don't like it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sometimes third session may be required, because some skin just doesn't hold the pigment well. But in the vast majority of cases 2 procedures will be enough to achieve desired look
