⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When you’ve invested in your beautiful permanent makeup, you’ll want to keep it looking its best for as long as possible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Most treatments last from one year up to two years before you require a colour boost appointment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Helping your cosmetic tattoo to stay sharp and nicely coloured means you’ll need to take care of it long term, although really this care is minimal. I recommend:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Always using sunscreen, as sunlight will fade your semi permanent makeup quicker⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Avoid using anti-aging creams directly on the area of your permanent makeup, as they can affect your tattoos⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Avoid certain skin treatments in the area, such as chemical peels, facial scrubs, laser rejuvenation, microdermabrasion and others⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you plan a skin treatment, tell your beautician about your permanent makeup⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you need an MRI scan or other medical procedure, inform your doctor about your permanent makeup⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That's it, nice and easy! Enjoy your permanent makeup until you need a colour boost. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Semi permanent makeup is always a 2 step process. You will definitely need your initial session, and a touch up session 6-12 weeks after.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Skin is a living organ, and pigments that are placed into the skin are foreign body, and your skin will always try to get rid of it. That's why permanent makeup always looks darker/brighter straight after the procedure and lighter once healed: because the skin and your immune system gets rid of some of the pigment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because everyone is different, different amounts of pigment will be pushed out during the healing process, and on the first session we are kind of testing the skin. We won't know how much pigment will be retained until we see the healed results. This is what the touch up is for: we assess the healed results and go from there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thus on the first procedure I tend to go lighter, as I would much rather you say: it's faded too much, I want it darker and thicker! rather than: it's too dark and thick I don't like it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sometimes third session may be required, because some skin just doesn't hold the pigment well. But in the vast majority of cases 2 procedures will be enough to achieve desired look HOME MADE SCRUB RECIPE FOR LIPS AND BODY
